‘After deciding to update my license to manual transmission, I was forwarded to David as a suitable instructor. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him greatly and declare to all potential learners that he is a very patient and thorough instructor who has a lovely manner with which he teaches. I very much enjoyed my lessons and quickly felt at ease with him at my side. I truly believe that David's comfortable and often jolly manner definitely allowed me to progress quicker than I would have otherwise. His wide and accurate knowledge of the road and other vehicles greatly interested me as we drove and made me learn more than just how to drive! I believe that David made me a much safer and more competent driver than I was before and his knowledge will definitely stay with me for as long as I am behind the wheel. “David Kenyon is a fantastic instructor who is patient, 100% reliable, approachable and has the ability to tailor lesson to every pupils individual needs. No matter what your ability David is always supportive and gives his pupils steady continuous and enthusiastic feedback throughout the lesson and at the end offers an in-depth over view of your achievements using a chart to illustrate change. Being taught by David is fantastic as he is patient and has a wealth of knowledge to aid you through all area's of driving.
David has a strong background within the motor vehicle trade and can help with advise on what you should be looking for in a first car, things to spot, what would best suit a budget. His motor trade experience pays off when learning to drive with L Club as he has the ability to continuously support, aid and give honest advice and tips on how to improve your skill set of driving. I am personally very grateful to have been taught by such a fantastic instructor who was patient, trustworthy, reliable and friendly.
David also offers an extensive range of refresher courses and schemes along with advance courses such as pass plus that aids any new driver to not only expand their new skill but to also become a better, safer driver. Thanks to David I have learned a new skill that is not only for the present but has set me up for the future of motoring in a 100% safe manor to protect ourselves and other motorist. I can honestly say that David is a fantastic person to get along with who is friendly and very understanding. I am extremely delighted that I passed my driving test with the L Club and very pleased that I have been taught by an instructor such as David that is helpful and honest. It was a pleasure to be learning with L Club and have already directed my friends and family to this fantastic instructor. David's car is extremely modern and easy to manoeuvre, it has electric windows and air conditioning! It is extremely easy to drive. L Club do not use satellite navigation systems whilst on a lesson nor do they display mobile phones, David will not use his mobile whilst giving a driving lesson as he feels its irresponsible and takes away the full input of the driving lesson! I am extremely grateful for all the David and L Club have done for me!!! Its been a pleasure to learn with them!!! All the best for the future of L Club”

“Just over a year ago I decided to start taking driving lessons.The biggest problem
was to find a right person and the right driving school as there are a hundreds of
different ones.So I went on google and typed in ,,looking for a driving lessons in
this area''.L Club and David Kenyon was the 1st one on the list so I thought I will
give it a go see if I like it .I rang David and had a very nice chat on the phone,he
explained everything I needed to know and start with.We arranged our first lesson
in about couple of weeks time,although I was very nervous but I new that it must
to be done as we all start from the scratch. First hour was more like an introduction,starting
to know the car,having a feel of being sat not in the passengers seat,but in the
second hour I managed to start off the car and finally drive down the road on my
own.As the first 2 hour lesson was over I have decided to continue my lessons with
L Club as the instructor has left me a very good impression,I felt comfortable around
him and that's what I think is very important,finding someone who you can trust.It
took me about six months to finally be able to drive,do all the manoeuvres right
be confident of taking control of the car without being supervised all the time.
David always said that we are not going to book the driving test just to see if I
am ready we going to book it when the time will show that I am ready and we both
will feel the same way. On the test day I was very nervous so was David but he believed
in me more then I did in myself and that's what motivated me at that time,try not
let him down,prove it that I am a good learner.And guess what it worked,I passed
first time!!! the feeling was incredible,I felt so proud of myself but deep down
I knew that all the credits should be given to my instructor because he has been
very supportive and did a fantastic job.Its true when people say that having a driving
instructor its like having a new friend .I know that he has done his job and that
it will be hundreds of people after me but I will always remember the person who
has helped me of achieving something more in this life.
That's why my advice is if
you are looking for a good driving instructor,if you are looking to find a good friend
and if you really want to pass your test first time this is a man you should be ringing
to and taking his advice.”

"Picking up David's company card from the hair dressers was the best choice that I made for my driving tuition, with a toss up between two companies, David won me over with his first 3 lessons for £10. Whilst driving with David he was completely patient and understanding, no matter how many mistakes you make David is always there reassuring you that you can do it, and that you're a better driver than most people on the road. David ensured that when it comes to driving I was past test standard and ready for anything that the road would throw at me, no matter how many Shirley's and Doris' step out in front of you.As a wise driving instructor told me driving is for life and not just for your 17th birthday, and if your vision is rhubarb slow down because speed will ruin everything!
